Coney Island: 1 Year Since Sandy–THANK YOU!

On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff, and members of Alliance for Coney Island, I write to gratefully acknowledge your assistance to Coney Island after Superstorm Sandy and update you on the recovery work since.

With contributions from supporters like you, we are continuing to help the Coney Island community get back on its feet.  In the immediate aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, we coordinated over 3,000 volunteers (including many of you!), assisted in the distribution of over 50,000 hot meals, and staged clean-ups in parks, beaches, and streets.
