BCS Mural Contest Deadline Extended to Friday, October 11^th

BCS needs your help finding artists who are trying to get recognition for their work and are willing to donate their creativity to support BCS and the Coney Island community.  Submissions should evoke one of three themes: Community, Resilience, or Peace.  We are extending the deadline for submissions to Friday, October 11, and looking for supporters to:

·         Submit designs themselves.

·         Forward this email to their artist friends.

·         Share/Like the Mural Contest posts on BCS' Facebook.

·         Let their artist friends know about the contest and deadline.

Deadline for Submissions

The deadline for submissions has been extended to Friday, October 11^th at 5pm. Winners will be notified by Tuesday, October 15^th.  Artists, along with BCS volunteers, will reproduce the design on an upcoming day in October.  The winning designs will appear on Surf Ave between 20^th and 21^st Street.  For more information on the contest, and guidelines for submissions, visit http://wearebcs.org/mural
