Aetna Foundation (primarily New York City) Regional grant making supports programs and research in its three program areas — Obesity, Racial and Ethnic Health Care Equity, and Integrated Health Care — that aim to help low-income, vulnerable and medically underserved people live healthier lives. Proposals that address more than one program area receive priority consideration. Funding priority is also given to programs serving New York City. American Eagle Foundation-Established in 1999, the AEO Foundation, we strive to create positive change in areas that are important to both our customers and associates, including youth development and environmental conservation. Our giving takes many forms, ranging from national charity partnerships to customer engagement initiatives to major community initiatives, international giving and associate activities. Lily Auchincloss Foundation, Inc.-The Foundation is a private grant making foundation dedicated to the enhancement of the quality of life in New York City. The foundation supports art, preservation and community programs, which serve to enrich the lives of the people of New York City. The Foundation funds only 501©(3) organizations located within the five boroughs of New York City. The foundation does not award grants to individuals. Deadline: Mar. 15, Aug. 15, and Dec. 15. Fund for the City of New York - The New York City Nonprofit Recovery Loan and Grant Program is designed to provide critical funds in the coming months to bridge the gap between expenditures needed to support the recovery from Hurricane Sandy and anticipated revenues such as grants, pledges, contract reimbursements, FEMA and insurance payments.
