For large-scale community-based construction projects in need of insulation, multiple truckloads (approximately 11 tons) of industrial grade wool insulation are available. The product is bonded and requires heavy duty blowing equipment - common blowing machines cannot be used. However, if interested groups have capacity for the volume of insulation, the donor is open to discussing the donated use of proper machinery. This insulation is donated by NYC WasteMatch, and accessible through NYC Center for Materials Reuse. For more information, contact Ben Rose.
