This weekend, Coney Island will serve as the finish line for the NYRR’s Brooklyn Half Marathon. In what will be the biggest event in the area since Hurricane Sandy, the race is symbolic of the ongoing work of recovery in our neighborhood. And thanks to the generosity of the New York Road Runners and the race participants, we’re also raising resources and awareness for the neighborhood. See you on the Boardwalk!
